A Warm Hello on This Cold Day

Hello!
Wow. It’s been a LONG time since I have written a blog post! And you know what? I miss writing. I miss reaching out to my readers.

Check out the winter scene out on my back deck! So pretty! How much snow do you have where you live?
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. And I don’t know if this will become a consistent thing again or if this is a one time pop in to say hello and then kind of vanish again thing because, frankly, life is a bit chaotic and busy, you know?
I also don’t know what, if I do make it consistent – and by consistent I don’t mean several times a week like before at all because I KNOW I can’t keep up with that but more like maybe a couple times a month? And If I’m only posting a couple times a month? Well, what would I write about? Well…..maybe it will just be a play it by ear kind of thing.
So. How about I just catch up on some basics?
We have a lot of snow! (see photo above)
My dog is my writing partner. Okay….well- more like she just keeps me company, sits on the floor or on the bed in my office and looks cute (see her photos below).
My son is in HIGH SCHOOL! YIKES! Where does the time fly!
I’m back to drinking tulsi tea daily! I still LOVE my tulsi….let’s see if I remember how to link a post?
I signed up to be an independent consultant with Pampered Chef! YAY! I love it. My start date was in October 2025. I wasn’t looking for a full time job or anything to take me away from home. I just wanted a little side hustle that would challenge me, be fun, bring in a little extra income, and be at least somewhat related to things I already love. And guess what? I LOVE Pampered Chef- I love cooking and it fits right into wellness! If you want to be well —- you need to cook your own food! At least most of the time 😉 Need a product? Shop here!
I’m trying to get back into a good morning routine! Do you have a routine that keeps you grounded, productive, and joyful?
I like to wake up and do a little bathroom routine, make a cup of coffee and just sit and do my morning prayers, devotions, and write a few things in a gratitude journal or do some other journaling. Then it’s off to check the calendar, make up my drinks for the day to keep myself hydrated, throw some laundry in if it’s a laundry day, do a little ‘walking at home’ with a YouTube video, start breakfast and get the rest of the day started.
A good morning routine really adds to wellness – keeping me on track for hydration, food preparation, my spiritual life becomes stronger and therefore my mental/emotional health is stronger, exercise and more – getting the day started with good activities and a positive mindset. Believe me though – it doesn’t always happen – and boy do I notice the difference!

Well – that’s a small ‘catch up’. Like I said – just a warm hello while I decide if I Jot me a note below and let me know what YOU have been up to. If I were to come back and write once in a while – what kind of posts would you like to see again? Maybe you will help me think of a new topic or way to approach blogging again….
